Inspiration & Making Of:

Inspired by a drastic 3000 mile move from home, and a new sense of self-discovery; The project took hold a single concept: “If you had only ten letters to write, What would you say?”. Each song is a letter to a person, concept, or former version of himself, No detail spared:

“I expected my first album and work to be full of rage, depression, and anguish.
Then, I leveled out and made songs and singles full of vanity and filler words that mean nothing.

Now, I’ve made something that I feel genuine about, and scared of. What people would say, or think, or maybe even some people would stop talking to me altogether after this album is heard.”

Inspiration & Making Of:

Liam is one of my favorite people to work. So creatively charged in many of  the same ways I am and I’m grateful I happened to meet them in a random discord server a half decade ago. (as of writing this in 2026).

Come summer 2024, After Liam’s previous project: “Divine Intentions” (an alt. rock solo project) went under,  He wanted to go electronic in some way. I had several projects that had become stagnant. stalled by several seismic changes in my life occuring at the time.  

So, On a whim one day I offered to help him achieve that shift and we started sifting demos. “your lips pressed to mine” and “pitch black” (written 2021) were brought back from archives and the rest we wrote, and finished off and on together for the better course of a year.

1:1 was a product of levity for the both of us , And gave the both of us something looser, and free in constricting times for ourselves.
